AustinMan Electromagnetic Voxels v2.2
AustinMan v2.2 is an update for the whole-body AustinMan model. In
addition to the changes in previous versions, AustinMan
v2.2 now has tissues in the brain stem separated into pons, midbrain,
and medulla. The bone cortical and bone marrow boundaries were improved
throughout entire model to ensure that bone marrow was surrounded by
bone cortical. Lastly, several
known errors were found and corrected. All 1878
slices are included in this model. Only the even slices (i.e. every 2 mm) were manually
corrected for slices 1426 - 2000; 2250 - 2360; and 2756 - 2878. The odd slices were obtained using the
previous even slice and an automated script that competes certain pairs
of materials. Therefore the odd slices are of lower fidelity than the
even ones for these regions of the model. AustinMan v2.2 was completed
on February 27, 2015. A list of materials identified in each slice can be found
here.
