###################################################### ### README for CEERS SAM input mock galaxy catalog ### ###################################################### This mock galaxy catalog is created for CEERS survey, modified based on realization 0 of the simulated EGS field from the SAM CANDELS DR2 / JWST Forecasts DR1 (run_20210607; Yung et al. in prep). The physical model is configured identically as the model presented in Somerville et al. 2021. This catalog covers a field of 782 arcmin^2, overlapping with the observed EGS field spanning z ~ 0 to 10. The catalog is available as a FITS table (CEERS_SAM_input.fits) or ASCII table (CEERS_SAM_input.cat). The catalog contains the following columns: haloid n/a halo id from halo catalog galid n/a galaxy id redshift n/a redshift with peculiar velocity including physical properties of galaxies: ra [degree] ra positions in sky dec [degree] dec positions in sky m_vir [1.0E10 M_sun] virial mass of the halo V_vir [km/s] virial velocity of the halo r_vir [Mpc] virial radius of the halo mhalo [1.0E10 M_sun] halo mass mstar [1.0E10 M_sun] stellar mass mcold [1.0E10 M_sun] cold gas mass Zstar [Z_sun] stellar metallicity Zcold [Z_sun] cold gas metallicity mstardot [M_sun/yr] instantaneous SFR sfr_ave [M_sun/yr] averaged SFR over 10 Myrs meanage [Gyr] mass-weighted mean stellar age angular_size [arcsec] effective radius of the galaxy ellipticity n/a ellipticity of the galaxy pos_angle n/a inclination along the line of sight sersic_index n/a sersic index based on Wuyts et al. 2012 and rest-frame luminosities for (measured in tophat filters): UV1500_rest, UV2300_rest, UV2800_rest and observed-frame luminosities for the following filters (including IGM and ISM attenuation effects): galex_FUV, galex_NUV, acsf435w, acsf606w acsf775w acs814w, acsf850lp, wfc3f275w, wfc3f336w, wfc3f105w, wfc3f125w, wfc3f160w, irac_ch1, irac_ch2, irac_ch3, irac_ch4, JWST MIRI F560W, F770W, F1000W, F1130W, F1280W, F1500W, F1800W, F2100W, F2550W Note: Photometry is in AB mag, except for MIRI filters (Jy). and observed-frame luminosities for JWST NIRCam wide / medium bands, including the contribution from nebular emission lines and IGM attenuation effects but NOT INCLUDING ISM dust extinction.
