Abstract:
The Landsat 7 ETM+ and Landsat 5 TM GeoTIFFs are intended as base maps and not for image analysis. A customized histogram stretch has been applied to the source data for optimum display. The original Landsat 7 ETM+ data for image analysis are available for free download through the following data service: <http://synergyx.tacc.utexas.edu/DataQuery/index.jsp> The Landsat 5 TM source data are also available free of charge. Purpose: To provide the ETM+ and TM data in a GIS ready format.
